Hotel O Vilankurichi

The room smelled strongly, and the taps and door handles were broken. They weren't willing to fix them. The bathroom hand shower leaked, and the toilet wasn't usable. A very, very bad experience.

We used to choose Hotel O in Vilankurichi for our exam trips because it was convenient and good value. We'd stayed there nearly six times in a year. This last visit was upsetting. We had booked ahead and travelled over 100 km, but the staff rudely refused to give us a room. They said they weren't willing to let us stay and told us to leave, saying, “do what you can.” It was hurtful and completely unprofessional from a place we'd trusted. We were stranded at night, exhausted and stressed, trying to find somewhere in an unfamiliar town during exam time. OYO customer support was no help either, with no support, resolution, or accountability. The experience changed how we feel about both this hotel and OYO's service standards. We strongly don't recommend it to anyone who expects trust, professionalism, and respect.

We booked 10 rooms for a function, and every one had complaints. The rooms aren't maintained and there's no service. Even the fan regulators don't work, and the washroom doors don't lock. Don't book a room here.
