OYO 11669 Abrigo City Centre Gandhipuram

The front office team were friendly, courteous, and professional, and the Deluxe room was spacious and well maintained. I thoroughly enjoyed the stay and found it great value for money. It can be slightly noisy at times since the hotel is inside the Gandhipuram city bus terminus. Great work, team, and I hope you keep up the same service.

The reception area felt welcoming, with lots of seating where people could sit and talk. Breakfast had a great selection, including wonderful made to order omelets, and the entire staff were friendly and helpful. We had a very pleasant two day stay at the Hotel Gera’s in New Delhi. Our room was large and comfortable, with two Queen beds, a mini fridge, microwave, and a large vanity in the bathroom.

The location seemed like a reason to book, but that turned out to be a major mistake. Bus honking was a nuisance, and there was no peace. I won’t book or recommend this hotel. It was my worst OYO experience. There was no hot water at all, and no proper toiletries, tissue, or water bottle. We got only one soap for 2 guests, with no shampoo or other toiletries. Whenever we called housekeeping, the number went to another guest room. Reaching reception was another problem, we had to call at least 5 -6 times before anyone answered. Despite multiple confirmations about our sunrise check in request, the manager was very rude at check in, even though a room was available. Breakfast was really pathetic: one mini uthappam, one mini idly, half scoop pongal, and tea in a paper cup, for which we had to prepay. We asked for a delay check out at 1pm, which OYO policy should make complimentary, but they wanted extra charges for checkout after 12pm. The staff attitude was the worst I’ve seen in OYO flagship hotels. Not one smile at arrival or checkout, no one asked how the stay was, and there wasn’t even a thank you gesture. A definite big NO ⛔⛔⛔ and big 👎👎👎.

The hotel’s location inside the bus stand makes it super easy and convenient for travellers. My room was clean and tidy, though kind of under ventilated. The air conditioning made it easier to manage. Staff were polite and friendly, and as a woman traveller I felt safe. I booked 3 nights for ₹3080 through an online website, but they charged me ₹3500 at checkout. That’s why I gave three stars.
