The SHS Grand Park worked well for getting around Coimbatore. From March 10th to 12th, I stayed there and found major shopping centers and restaurants within walking distance. The front desk team welcomed us at check-in and shared useful tips about local attractions. Our room was spacious, clean, well maintained, and had comfortable bedding and modern amenities. We could hear traffic from the highway, especially at busy times, since the room was nearby. The restaurant food was decent, but the menu was limited, so we went to nearby eateries for more variety. A higher-floor room might help reduce the traffic noise. The hotel is also close to popular places like the Coimbatore Marina and the VOC Park. My stay was pleasant, and I'd recommend it to people looking for convenience and comfort in Coimbatore. Better noise insulation and more dining choices could improve the experience.

The location was good, but I wasn't satisfied with our one-night stay after coming from Ooty. I booked a triple-occupancy room and a double-occupancy room, and both felt small. The photos posted with the reviews are old and don't show the current condition. The indoor parking is so steep that a low-clearance car can scrape underneath, which happened to mine. The person at reception wasn't very friendly, and the water heater in my room didn't work. The price also felt high for what they offer.

The receptionist was very rude and senseless, and I had a very bad experience. I asked whether a room was available and was told no, but at that same time another person came in and was given a room. I was there with my husband. The receptionist seemed to assume we were a young couple without asking us anything. I'm not blaming him for considering the possibilities, but he should at least ask. If he keeps this attitude, he'll lose customers. I strongly suggest people avoid becoming victims of this kind of judgment.
