The only real plus was the location, which works well for visiting Sim's park. The surroundings were maintained nicely, but breakfast wasn’t provided and I wish the host had told us beforehand. The cash was also deducted. The kitchen wasn’t tidy, and the caretaker gave us hot water in a flask with tea remains inside.

Mr. Chandran, the house keeper, was cheerful and attentive, and they catered to individual food preferences. The meals were delicious. Ms. Jayanthie, the owner, was wonderful, courteous, and made sure guests were well looked after. The cottage itself is charming, with spacious rooms, lovely views, well-made beds, and a nice living room. The setting is serene and scenic, with trees, greenery, and birds all around. It’s quiet, calm, and unpolluted. I strongly recommend it and would love to visit again soon.

The staff went out of their way to help our family enjoy the fire campaign, and the food was excellent. Our room was very clean, and we had a very good stay.

Chandru Anna, the caretaker, was patient and lovely, and clearly cared about making our stay a good one. The property is private, with room to park two SUVs if you’re driving. Couples and families can feel safe here, and it’s only 500 meters from Sims park. It’s one of the most beautiful places to stay in Coonoor. You can get food delivered with Swiggy and Zomato in about 25 minutes. Zepto, blink it, and transport apps don’t work here, so get a local auto guy’s number and call him when you need a ride. Everything you need is within 1-2 km.
