The best parts of my stay at Country Inn Tarika in Mainpuri were the people and the restaurant. Naresh was kind and on hand from check-in through check-out, and he tried to sort out my concerns. The rest of the staff were friendly too. I enjoyed the tasty, well-seasoned food, and the servings were generous. The room had plenty of space, but the tables and chairs were worn and wobbly, and sitting or working on them was uncomfortable. The AC still left the room stuffy on a warm night, even after adjustments. Maintenance took a while to respond, and only partly fixed it. The bathroom was the biggest letdown, with grime around the fixtures, stained tiles, and a lingering musty smell. It needs better daily cleaning and upkeep. It works as a budget stop if good service and food matter more to you than a perfect room. With some maintenance upgrades, it could be a 4-5 star stay.

The staff were attentive and polite, and the food and service were both really good. We found the rooms comfortable, spacious, and well kept. It was a lovely break from our busy routine, with peaceful, scenic surroundings. We'd happily come back.

Paying for an extra bed and getting only a mattress on the floor was a major disappointment. I also found that many of the room's facilities weren't working properly, and even the basics seemed faulty or poorly maintained, which made the stay uncomfortable. Service and upkeep were both very poor. I wouldn't recommend booking Country Inn Jim Corbett until those problems are addressed. Avoid it if you're expecting a comfortable stay.

The rooms were neat, and the staff gave good service and were always on time. We're vegetarian, and I thought the veg food was quite good. A couple of washroom details could be better: the soap dispenser takes a hard push, and the toilet water pressure needs improving.

Yug Mehra and Rameshwar Singh made a real difference during my visit. They were warm and professional, and took care of the details throughout. I really appreciated their effort. Country Inn Tarika, Jim Corbett had clean, comfortable, well-maintained rooms, and the peaceful natural setting added to the charm. From arrival onward, the hospitality made the stay memorable. I'd recommend it for a calm getaway with good service, and I'd love to return.
