I ate at the hotel restaurant often and found the food excellent, with prices much more reasonable than I expected. Service was high quality, too. The contemporary building has a calm, peaceful feel, and it struck me as one of the better, safer places to dine.

The property felt rundown and neglected. My first room had stained sheets and a smelly bathroom. When I raised it at reception, they said, as I understood it, clean sheets required booking a “deluxe” room. I paid extra to switch, but the new room was bigger and just as bad. Cleanliness should come standard in any hotel room, not be treated as an upgrade. Avoid this place.

We only came for the restaurant. After waiting 20 minutes without anyone helping us find a table, we left, and I won’t be going back. It was packed, but there was no process for seating new customers as tables opened up, and no staff organizing things. The ambience and service were both poor. In restaurants I’ve visited in Hyderabad and Mumbai, staff politely ask people to wait and sort out seating promptly, even when someone is alone.

The rooms are small and suffocating, overpriced, and not hygienic, with AC trouble there too. For my engagement booking, they took an advance, then we found out the event AC stopped working after 1-2 hours and they had no chef. They also couldn’t provide a valid bill showing the cancellation policy. When we raised these issues, they pushed us to continue the function in 48° heat and refused a refund. After seven days of chasing them and countless calls, with their story changing each time, they finally compensated us with liquor at bar prices. I’d never recommend the place. Donot trust the sweet words of manager Mr. Pattanaik and Bapi.
