Devka Beach Resort

The rooftop restaurant was amazing, with great staff, and the location is perfect. The gym and games room were well equipped, and the pool was great too. The waitress at the restaurant had trouble understanding the language, though. Reception was a different story. The staff had a strange attitude and didn’t seem to care when the phone wasn’t working. The AC had issues, which I fixed myself. When I asked for scissors to cut a tag, reception sent someone to my room with them, and the person stayed to watch what I was doing. That felt odd.

The swimming pool is large and well maintained, and it’s the property’s highlight. The rooms are also in good shape, though the interiors feel dated. But the service fell short, apparently because there are too few staff. At breakfast, tea and butter were late despite repeated requests, and one crowded live counter wasn’t enough for the number of guests. They should have set up two or three. Restaurant food is expensive, liquor prices are extremely high, and there’s another 20% VAT on top. Even near the pool, menus were left on the tables but no one was available to take orders. The property is nice, but it doesn’t feel like a true five-star resort and the value is questionable. Online travel sites offer much better prices than booking directly on the resort website.

The rooftop restaurant had a lovely atmosphere and tasty food, and the whole place felt relaxing and family friendly. At Devka Beach Resort,Daman, the rooms were spacious, clean, and well kept. Staff were polite, helpful, and the service was excellent. A peaceful beachside break in Daman, highly recommended.

We were allowed to check in early, and the rooms were large and spacious, with neat, clean toilets. The property gives you a swimming pool view, not a view of Devaka beach, which is about a five-minute walk away. Google calls it a five-star hotel, but it didn’t feel that way to me. Breakfast had plenty of tasty options. There’s a play area for kids, as well as a gym and other facilities. The pool was clean, and security guards were on duty there, a big plus for parents. Service felt a little slow. I’d recommend it if you’re looking for a relaxing stay.
