The room was a little cramped, but the staff were attentive and helpful, and the service was impressive. Food was decent, nothing to complain about, though it didn’t stand out. A comfortable option if you’re after solid service, as long as you don’t expect a lot of room space.

Hotel Blue Lagoon worked well for our family. We had a pleasant, comfortable stay, with spacious rooms, clean bathrooms, and cooperative staff. They also agreed to an early check-in when we asked. I’d recommend it to people visiting Daman.

The manager added a charge at checkout because a business associate had visited for an hour during my one-night stay. He didn’t stay overnight. When we challenged the fee, they called it hotel policy, but we hadn’t been told about it and couldn’t find it displayed at the desk or in the room. The receptionist was rude and dismissive when we tried to discuss it. It felt like an attempt to get extra money from guests. I travel for business often and have never seen such poor transparency. The property itself was average and not worth the price. I won’t stay at Hotel Blue Lagoon again or recommend it.

The photos online gave a very different impression. My room was small, old, and dirty, with dust, cockroaches, and mosquitoes in both the room and bathroom. The sheets weren’t clean either. The price felt far too high for the quality. Check-in and checkout took a long time, and the reception lady was rude, arrogant, dismissive, and unprofessional. Breakfast was stale and oily, the meals weren’t appetizing, and the dining dishes were old and stained. Hygiene and service were poor throughout. This was the worst hotel stay I’ve had. Don’t waste your money here.
