Sandy Resort

The resort is spacious and clean, and the staff were good, but the remote location and high prices didn’t meet my expectations. It’s near the beach, though at the far end, and feels quite secluded from the road. Without a vehicle, you have to walk a lot to get anywhere. The night market is very far away, so I’d choose somewhere nearer if you want to enjoy the nightlife without worrying about the distance.

The pool was nice, though needing nylon clothes because there’s no slide felt like a waste of money. The hotel and location were fabulous, and the food was delicious, but the prices were much too high.

At Sandy Resort, the property was nicely maintained, the rooms and bathrooms were very clean, and room service was quick. It was a comfortable stay with good service overall. I do think the veg and non-veg kitchens should be separate, and the rates were a little high. It would also be great if pool hours went until at least 10:00 p.m.

The rooms were clean and the location was convenient, but the food was poor value. My regular chapati was tiny, hard to break, and cost ₹50. The food quality was not good and the taste was below average, so I’d give it 1 out of 5. Nothing was included despite the high prices. At the pool, we were told nylon shorts were compulsory. Since we didn’t have them, we had to buy a pair from the hotel for ₹50. The pool itself was very small, with a maximum depth of about 5 feet 10 inches. I’d call the property a 3-star experience, mainly because of the location.
