SPOT ON 67211 Hotel Gokul

Tourists coming to daman, don't go to hotel Gokul. The bedsheets and bathroom were very dirty, and it was a really bad experience, a waste of money. If you're looking for somewhere on a budget, it's up to you, but I wouldn't recommend it.

The rooms were dirty and there was no service available. The location is a good point, though.

At ₹1000 per night for a non AC room, the place was cheap, but I got a little less than I paid for. The staff service was below average, and the customers and staff around the place were unpleasant. It honestly felt pretty unsafe, especially for female or solo travelers. The room had problems throughout. The washroom wasn't hygienic, the bedsheet was so miserable it made things really uncomfortable, and some rooms had lights that didn't work or sockets missing. At night there was a lot of noise, with beer bottles breaking, which gave the place a creepy feel. I stayed one sleepless night and left first thing in the morning. I'd suggest looking at other hotels, like Marina, 300 metres from this hotel. It's a bit more costly, but at least you can enjoy your stay. If you can afford ₹1500-2000 onwards, look nearby. My experience in this room was absolutely horrible.

The location is the only reason this gets one star. The staff were rude, the rooms dirty, and the toilets were the worst part. You can see the rest in the pictures. It may be booked under the OYO brand name, but there's nothing much here: no toilers and no proper bed. They treat you as if you don't matter if you've booked a non AC room. There was no hot water, even though we were willing to give change.
