Sagar Sawali Beach Resort Karde

The food was a real highlight, especially the soul kadhi and modak. There were plenty of fish and vegetarian choices, and the prices felt reasonable for such tasty, homely meals. Gaikwad kaka and the rest of the team were caring and quick to help. We’ve now visited Dapoli three times and stayed at Sagar Sawali each time. Being right across from the beach makes it easy to go for a walk whenever you like, and the village and views are lovely. The waves are audible early in the morning and at night, which is really calming. The front and back views are great, and the resort has a peaceful, family-oriented feel. The rooms are where things have slipped. On my first visit they were in great shape, but now they need repairs and renovation, particularly the bathrooms, where things were broken. Aside from the room condition, we had a great stay and would be glad to return.

We spent two days here with family and found the rooms clean, spacious, and tidy. The staff were decent, the food was good, and the beach is an easy walk away. There are several hotels nearby as well. I picked this Sagar Sawali over the other one at Ladghar because it gives easier access to other beaches and places like Harnai and Suvarnadurg fort. Mauli Krupa hotel, where we found good food, is about a 10-minute drive away. The price was good for the place. The photo was taken from the second-floor balcony.

You can visit again, and it’s a nice hotel for a 2-4 day stay. The food, rooms, hospitality, and the rest of the experience were all really good. It’s right opposite karde beach. There’s no laundry service, though, and in winter the hot water wasn’t warm enough for a proper shower.

We enjoyed staying here. The rooms were clean and nice, and the view from them was especially good. The place has a relaxed vibe and a huge garden, with the beach just a 2-minute walk away. Staff were helpful and very good.
