We were a group of 21 and checked in on 28 May 24. The rooms were so cramped that the hotel felt like a chamber, with no ventilation, and many of us couldn't sleep because of the stuffiness. There was only a small night lamp in the bathroom, so it was hard to see. The walls had fungus too. Even though we booked two months in advance for a family of four, they gave us one single bed. We left a day early and found another hotel in Kalimpong. A terrible experience.

The rooms were smelly and in very bad shape, with poor lighting, and there was no room service. I can't upload photos. Atcha hota toh jarooor upload karta.

The location is great, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were generally clean and well managed, especially the toilets, and the food was good. Since vehicles can't reach the hotel, the hilly walk means you have to carry your luggage yourself or get a porter (KULLI) to take it to a car or rented vehicle about 200-250m away. Even with that issue, I'd recommend staying here to enjoy beautiful DARJEELING, thanks to the setting and helpful staff.

I travel to Darjeeling often and have stayed at Hotel Milost Darjeeling alone. As a woman, safety was a real concern when I was booking and arriving, but I felt reassured seeing CCTV cameras around the whole hotel. The woman at reception greeted me with a smile and handled check-in quickly and professionally. My room felt just right from the moment I walked in, and the hygiene was top class, especially in the washroom, which was in perfect condition. The staff were respectful and courteous, and I had a comfortable stay. I recommend the hotel.
