The food was tasty and reasonably priced, and the owner and staff were very kind and helpful. It’s budget-friendly and good value, though it doesn’t have 5-star luxury facilities. There’s no lift. If you’re travelling with elderly people, I’d recommend asking for a 1st-floor room so you can avoid the stairs.
Darjeeling palace hotel is close to Mall Road, and the rooms were neat and clean. The service was great.
Good hospitality and a great experience with this hotel. The room was neat and clean, and both the geyser and TV worked properly.
The room itself was good, but the receiver line was torn, so we had to go report issues to get room service. The geyser was confusing: cold water came from the shower while hot water came from the basin tap. They’d covered the ventilator with newspaper to keep out the chilly wind.
The 6 bedded room had no ventilation and wasn’t maintained at all. It wasn’t a good experience.
