Lotus Homestay

I came to Kolkata after my first trip to Darjeeling with friends. I was worried about the rooms, food, staff, and atmosphere, but those worries went away as soon as we reached this homestay. It's near the main road called Dalli, but still quiet and not too crowded. You can sit and enjoy the Kanchanjuga view in a calm setting, with plenty of privacy. The owner, Uncle and Aunty, were humble and helpful. If you want homemade food, just ask Aunty, she makes it yummy. I had a beautiful experience there.

Usha aunty and Uday uncle made our stay lovely. They're a sweet elderly couple who provide everything you need and make the place feel like home. The terrace has a great view of Kanchenjunga, and I'd like to visit again in the future. The homestay is a little way in from the main road and down a slope, so you have to walk there and back, but that's the only drawback for me.

The owner couple welcomed us like family, and the room and bathroom were stylish and very clean. This was the most budget-friendly stay I've had, and it felt like a five-star hotel. It's one of the best stays I've experienced, so you can book this homestay with confidence.

A lovely, very clean homestay with super nice and helpful hosts. They provide filtered water and an electric blanket. The views from the rooms and rooftop are amazing, especially at sunrise. Try their dinner too.
