Sankama The Boutique Hotel

Parking was convenient, and the team came across as professional and friendly throughout. The rooms were very clean, well cared for, and comfortable, which made for a relaxing stay. Staff were courteous, attentive, and ready to help. Breakfast was included and had a thoughtful range of healthy choices. The food was excellent in taste and quality, with plenty to choose from. I had a very pleasant visit and would recommend the hotel to someone looking for a comfortable stay.

The breakfast made the biggest impression: the idli, wada, sambar, and poha were delicious, and the buttermilk at the end was a lovely finish. Sankama Boutique Hotel, Davangere was also convenient for a stopover, being close to the highway. I stayed one night and found it very comfortable. The service was excellent, and the staff were courteous and extremely helpful. Mr. Raju at the front desk deserves a mention for being polite and down-to-earth, helping with everything we needed and making things go smoothly. A pleasant stay with great hospitality, highly recommended.

The food was decent, and the vegetarian dishes we tried weren't too oily. The upstairs restaurant had quite a crowd, including locals and travellers, and there's a bar attached. Staff were courteous and arranged the extra bed and blanket we requested. The hotel is near Shamnur Road and easy to reach from the Bangalore-Goa route, so it works well for a brief overnight stop when travelling from Bangalore. Rooms were clean. Since it's a boutique place, there are eclectic touches like antique pieces and sketches on the walls. The dining area is upstairs. A decent place for a night, though not luxurious.

For the price, this is a really strong budget choice in town. The rooms and the rest of the property are kept exceptionally clean and maintained far better than I expected. Staff are consistently courteous and professional. The in-house Family Restaurant serves decent food, and the location is a big plus. It's a no-frills option that suits families, and I especially recommend it to business travelers.
