Sahil hotel is within walking distance of hawa mahal, jantar mantar, and city palace, right on the main junction at Ramganj chopar. A non AC double room cost 1000 rs. I would have rated it four stars for the budget price and location, but the hot water didn't work for either of our two days there, in weather around 8-10 degrees. Even after we complained repeatedly, staff argued with us and wouldn't acknowledge the problem. They also charged us another 500rs, half a day's rate, for checking out just two hours late. I've never seen a hotel charge that much for a two-hour delay. It feels like they lure people with a cheap room and then take more money at checkout. We stayed on 24 & 25 jan 2026.

This ended up being the cheapest place we stayed on the whole trip, though at first I worried it would throw off our holiday. It's basic and best for travelers who just need somewhere low-cost to sleep. Amenities are limited. I didn't know of any room service, and parking is scarce. Since it's right by a busy junction, expect plenty of street noise instead of a quiet night. The rate was still a little high for what you get, though seasonal demand was probably a factor. If you're lucky, monkeys might wander around your windows.

Hawa Mahal is 1.1 Km away and Jantar Mantar is 1.5 Km away, but I had no room cleaning during my three-day stay. The sheet was torn, the room was dirty and smelly, and the furniture was awful, as the photos show. The steel bathroom door got stuck, too. Never try this hotel. You can't expect much from a muslim hotel.

The hotel has improved over time, and we've addressed the problems mentioned in reviews while adding more facilities. The TV service is temporarily suspended because of some issues, but otherwise you shouldn't have any complaints.
