Yashshree Mall Road Darjeeling

Nitya Chettri is always polite and welcoming. Her attention to customers is amazing, and every interaction with her has felt genuine and good. I hope she does well in the future and for the hotel too. Yashree Jai hotels should be proud to have her on the staff. Thank you for your daily service, Nitya.

We had a memorable stay and would love to come back. The view from our room was mesmerizing, and the staff were very courteous and helpful. Mall road is within walking distance, and the hotel is centrally located. Highly recommended.

We stayed here recently, and there were problems with both the meal arrangements and the package promises. The package mentioned packaged drinking water, but we were given refill water bottles. It also included a welcome drink, which we never received. There was no parking for our vehicle. The breakfast buffet wasn't up to the mark, with no variety of desserts at breakfast or dinner. At dinner, they didn't offer either a buffet or à la carte ordering. We could only choose from their own short set menu, with very few options. Even at breakfast, when the bread ran out, we were told there wasn't any available. A restaurant should have enough bread in its pantry. The hotel is near the market and Mall Road, but it doesn't deserve a good rating.

Sumi Yashshree Mall Road is a comfortable, reliable choice in Darjeeling. The rooms were spacious and clean, the bed was comfortable, and housekeeping kept things tidy throughout. The property is modern and well-kept, with a welcoming feel, and it made a nice base after sightseeing. The restaurant served good food with a variety that met expectations. The location near Mall Road was a real plus for exploring on foot. The staff were generally polite and helpful, and handled most requests with care. Still, a welcome drink included in our package never arrived at check-in. There was also confusion over car service charges: the driver gave one rate, while reception gave another. That caused some inconvenience and could leave guests dissatisfied. Better communication and consistency with promised services would help. I found the stay enjoyable, with clean, comfortable rooms, good food, and a prime location. There were small gaps in service, but I’d recommend it with a confident four-star rating.
