Vanghat Jungle Lodge

The quiet, green surroundings made it easy to get away from city routine, and the stay felt peaceful and refreshing. It's far from town and village crowds, tucked into a hilly jungle setting, but the staff handled every need quickly and with a positive attitude. Their warmth and dedication stood out. Our room was clean, neat, and comfortable. The food was good too. It's a lovely place for nature lovers looking for silence, greenery, and fresh air. I'd happily visit again and recommend it.

The evening talk by Arav was a highlight. He's passionate and knowledgeable, and his stories, facts, and insights really bring the forest to life. The team also organizes activities throughout the day, keeping things engaging without making us feel rushed. We enjoyed walking the beautiful nearby trails and taking in the landscape. Vanghat stayed with me more as each hour passed. It's not a typical resort, but an immersion in the jungle. The river runs beside the property, and we were surrounded by raw forest. We might see elephants crossing if we're lucky, and sambar alarm calls can echo through the valley. Barking deer are even on the property, which adds to the magic. The staff were warm, friendly, and attentive, looking after our needs in a personal way that never felt formal or forced. Meals were excellent, simple, fresh, and full of flavour, especially welcome after long walks and exploring. I stayed at Vanghat in Marchula in March. It's a brilliant wilderness experience that reminds you how wild spaces feel when left untouched. I'd return without a second thought.
