Bunkotel (Bunk@4&6)

The hotel sits in a prime spot between the central library and the start of mall road, and the room and ambience were good. It’s one of the cheapest deals for a larger group, with rooms for four or six people using two or three bunk beds. The room is quite compact, though, so it may not feel cozy for every family. I bumped my head a couple of times before falling asleep xD. A decent choice for youngsters.

For 800 rupees I had all four beds, so the whole room was mine. It’s fine if all you need is a warm bed and water for the night. The rooms are tiny and there’s no service, which makes it better suited to solo backpackers. Mansoorie doesn’t seem to have other hostels like this.

The beds and pillows weren’t clean, and the toilet bed was broken and unattached. Check the pictures for yourself. The only positives I found were the reasonable price and its location on Mall road.
