The views are breathtaking and the location beautiful, but the stay felt costly and short on empathy and care. Roads were blocked by heavy snowfall on 25th January, beyond the guests’ control. The hotel didn’t call to check if we could reach, wouldn’t postpone the stay or refund the amount, and couldn’t give clear route guidance when we asked if roads were open. We reached at 11 PM, yet checkout was still expected at 10:30 AM the next day. After repeated requests, we got to leave at 12:00 PM. Dinner was another disappointment. We ordered at 9:30 PM, but the food was left in the room cold (thanda), including salty dal and cold rotis. At ₹65 per roti, I expected basic things like hot, freshly prepared food, especially in a cold, snow-bound location. Everything felt very money-focused. They charge for experiences but didn’t go the extra mile to make us feel cared for when circumstances were difficult. Since it’s the only hotel in that range and location, guests seem to have limited options. The property has stunning views, but hospitality should include warmth and care as well as professionalism, and those were missing.

The food was outstanding, every dish balanced and prepared with care. The setting felt like luxury in the lap of the jungle, surrounded by nature and far from the noise and rush. The fresh air and calm made it deeply relaxing and rejuvenating, and every moment felt peaceful. The whole team made us feel at home and went above and beyond for our comfort. Special mention to Mr Amit & Mr Neeraj for their constant support and courteous behavior. Manager Sahil’s dedication and tireless hard work really elevated the experience. We’re grateful to everyone for such a wonderful, unforgettable stay. Highly recommend!

We held a Corporate leadership offsite at EBC for 3 days and were impressed by how thoughtfully the team looked after colleagues from different nations. The rooms were luxurious and extremely comfortable while fitting in with the natural surroundings. Food and service were top notch, and the wifi was great too.

We stayed for one night in two rooms, one basic camper room and one slightly bigger glamper room. Sahil took great care of us and was helpful and considerate, while the other staff were courteous and professional. The food was great, and the forest setting had fresh air and a lovely feel. The washrooms could have been cleaner, and I felt the price was a little high. Otherwise everything was perfect. I might come back when the new tents and lounge under construction are ready. Note that alcohol other than beer isn’t available at the property.

The evening and morning trek with the guide was the highlight. He became my son’s best friend. The café food was superb, and the staff were attentive and supportive. One of the best experiences up in the mountain. The room was cozy, clean, well organized and maintained. I can’t recommend this place enough 🥰
