Four Points by Sheraton Dehradun

The breakfast buffet was one of the best I’ve had, with something to suit everyone. Mr. Sunder Chand, the executive chef, checked in with us each day to see how our stay was going. He also made a healthy organic drink that my family and I really enjoyed. We stayed for four days, and the experience was easily the best hotel stay I’ve had. The rooms were comfortable and lively, the hotel was very hygienic, and the staff were quick to help with whatever guests needed.

We stayed for six days in May 22, split across two visits. The rooms were clean and well serviced, and each had a balcony looking towards mussorie. The breakfast and evening meals were excellent, with plenty of choice for guests from anywhere in the world. Staff were so attentive that our cups and glasses rarely stayed empty for long. A great hotel in an excellent location.

The rooms are big and spacious, and have all the amenities except a mini bar. Staff are polite, and both room service and the food were good. There was too little variety despite the good booking, and it felt as if they were imposing the available options on guests. Reception should be quicker about getting rooms ready, and the internal communication needs work. Still, it was a nice property to stay in and a good overall experience.

The staff treated us well, which was the best part of our one-day stay. The restaurant food was amazing, and the breakfast buffet was fresh, tasty, and nicely laid out. The restaurant staff were attentive, polite, and helpful with guests’ needs. At the front desk, everyone was courteous, and the manager kindly offered milk or khichdi for our child at no charge. In-room service was prompt too. The rooms are average in size, but comfortable and well equipped to the standard of a starred property. With few luxury options in Dehradun, I’d recommend this hotel for families and business trips.
