There were cockroaches in the rooms, the sheets and blankets were filthy, and the room smelled bad. There was no cleanliness at all, and I had a really bad experience. I'm now seeing lots of bad reviews, but nothing seems to have changed. OYO, this was a disappointment. Not recommended.

The beds were dirty, the washroom hadn't been cleaned, and there was no hygiene. Staff weren't professional. It felt like they only cared about making money. This is the worst place I've visited, and I'd give it a negative star if I could.

The location on Canal road is the one bright spot, close to Rajpur road and other well-known places. The price is cheap, but several issues made the stay a deal breaker. The property looks good in pictures, yet it's in pathetic condition and needs maintenance. There are cockroaches everywhere, even on the bed, and they'll swarm food left out for five minutes. The sheets had been washed but were torn in several places. Windows and curtains were broken, and there was water seeping through the walls. The first room's AC started leaking after 20 minutes and dampened my bag and belongings, so I had to change rooms. Staff told me there was only one AC remote for the whole floor, and I had to tell them what temperature to set while they kept it. The old lift doesn't reach every floor, and its buttons barely worked unless pressed hard. Outside food isn't allowed. The restaurant menu seemed to offer only paneer dishes and tea, and what they served tasted below average, enough to make you feel sick. The staff were decent but lacked hospitality.

The booking situation was strange: they said the hotel only accepts online bookings but also claimed it wasn't linked to Booking.com, Agoda, or other sites, even though everything is linked online. At reception, 8 to 10 people sat around like goons. I didn't feel it was safe for couples. The rooms had bed bugs, something I'd never come across in Dehradun before. The people at reception and room service seemed like goons too, and were ready to throw you out if you asked a question. They couldn't even provide a glass of water. This hotel is a mistake. You'd be better off sleeping on the road or staying at a dharmshala.
