Hotel Himalayan Village By OYO Rooms

It’s calm, quiet, and not crowded, with a spectacular view. The hotel is a bit far from the main attractions, especially Mall road, but I think Mall road is overrated anyway. We ate lunch and dinner there several times, and the food was pretty good. You can eat outside while looking over the mountains, and room service was great too.

We loved the stay and will definitely be back soon. The remodeled rooms look beautiful, the beds are comfortable, and the food is delicious. Staff were friendly, and it’s in a prime location. There are lots of activities for kids, including sky cycling, paragliding, hill motor bike, zip line, and sky walk.

Himalaya village is a nice place to stay, about a five-minute drive from the Mall. The food and service were excellent, and breakfast had plenty to choose from, including Indian and continental options. The restaurant was also very good and reasonably priced. We had a brilliant weekend getaway and really enjoyed it.

We barely used the place beyond sleeping. The rooms were dirty, with hair on the bed and floor, and the bathroom smelled of leaking sewage. When we asked about fixing it, we were told they couldn't help. The food was tasteless despite prices like the restaurants on Mall Road. We tried dinner and breakfast, then got loose motions after the poori breakfast and took medicine for food poisoning. We didn't eat there again and checked out early without breakfast. We had been told beds would be arranged for the people in our group, but then they asked us to pay extra for a mattress. The photos also gave a misleading impression: the hotel has six rooms and a small open area, while the other pictures are of Mussoorie lake and the adventure place in the valley. The 5-star ratings seem fishy to me, and some recent reviews were completely right. I would try to complain to the officials too. Please avoid this place.
