Hotel Jain Regency

We lost money here, so please don't waste yours. A really bad experience. I would never recommend it to anyone...👎🤬

Mall road is a 15 min walk from Hotel Jain Regency, so if you check in late, you can still go there late at night. Beyond that, the stay disappointed me. The view was just okay, like what you'd find in any basic mountain area such as Shimla, and not the sort of view people usually picture when they think of Mussoorie. The online photos and glowing reviews were misleading. My trip organizer called it a 3-star hotel, but it didn't feel like a proper hotel to me, more like a homestay. The room was average: only one charging point, which meant unplugging the TV to use it; a single inside latch on the door that didn't feel secure; a broken geyser; and just one dim light. The room view also didn't match the pictures online. We only tried the pakoras, and they were average. There's no real restaurant, just a small food setup with a table and a few chairs. Staff were polite, but didn't make much effort to help and always seemed to have an excuse when something wasn't working or available. The overall experience was disappointing, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone expecting a proper hotel stay.

Keshav helped us understand the prices and room options, and made check-in easier. Our room was tidy and clean, a good fit for couples, with a roomy bathroom and even a mirror in there. The peaceful window view gave the place a cozy feel. The food was a real highlight. The prices were reasonable, portions just right, and everything tasted so good, even the chai. I'd recommend it for a budget-friendly stay with good service.

Really good food, especially through room service. The employees were friendly and had a very good nature.
