Hotel Pacific Dehradun

It's an older hotel, but it has kept up its standards and regular clientele well. The central Dehradun location is handy if you have work in the heart of the city. Prices were competitive too. My Super Deluxe room was a decent size, clean, and free of any smell. It had a window, king-sized bed, and a small but organized bathroom. There’s a gym on the second floor if you want to keep up your daily exercise. The hotel itself felt quiet and comfortable. Staff were polite, responsive, and cooperative. Housekeeping didn’t answer my intercom calls, though, so I had to make requests through reception. Breakfast was simple but tasted great and suited Indian tastes.

Hotel Pacific made exploring Dehradun easy, thanks to its central location near attractions. Check-in was quick, and the staff welcomed me warmly. My room had air conditioning, a TV, a mini-fridge, and a clean en-suite bathroom, and it was comfortable and well furnished. Breakfast was included, with a good range of dishes. The team were attentive and courteous throughout, and the rooftop restaurant’s views of the surrounding hills were a highlight. There’s a fitness center too. Room service was a little late once, but the staff promptly sorted it out. I had a wonderful stay overall and would recommend Hotel Pacific for a comfortable, convenient visit. I’d rate it four out of five stars.

The food was good, the hotel was clean, and the location was good too. My room, 203, was clean, but the toilet smelled because it had no AC or ventilation. The toilet seat could have been cleaner as well, though maybe the issue was only in that room. The lady staff member who took clothes for ironing was well mannered and well groomed. I liked how she spoke and greeted people.

I went to a wedding reception in the ground-floor banquet hall. The washrooms were upstairs on the first floor. The food and service were poor. They even served vegetarian and non-vegetarian snacks from the same trolley. Horrible. Nothing more to say.
