The in-house kitchen served really nice food hot, and room service was quick. The owner was especially supportive and let our all-girl group check in early without an extra charge. Staff were cooperative too. Hotel Sham Residency is at Prince Chowk, opposite Jain Dharmashala. The ambience is decent, and the rooms were neat, with a decent washroom and geyser. We had a comfortable stay and a great experience.

My stay was just average. The room wasn't as clean as I expected, especially around the bathroom and the corners, which needed more attention. The hotel also feels dated and isn't very well maintained.

Mr Gautam was very supportive when we arrived early for check-in. They gave us a room where we could freshen up, then provided our room later. It was neat and clean, and the washroom was very hygienic.

I've been a regular customer, but after being away from the country for about a year, I won't be going back. I called on 16th February to book a room for the 17th and was assured it would be held. When I arrived around 7.45 pm on the 17th, they showed me rooms and told me the rate. The man at the counter was extremely harsh and disrespectful, so I left because of his behavior and attitude. As a hotelier with 40 years of experience, I found it unacceptable.

The hotel is in a lovely central spot, and I had a nice stay with complimentary breakfast and great service. They also have two-wheelers for rent for local sightseeing. I'll be back.
