Hotel Surya Kiran

The location and the view were the only things I liked. The water in the morning was either unavailable or brown and muddy, and electricity kept cutting out. We were charged for basic water bottles, while the customer representative was rude and unhelpful when we complained. The room had a constant bad smell, a loose, shaky toilet seat, dusty blankets that caused skin allergies, and linen that seemed unhygienic. The bed was so poor that it was hard to breathe comfortably once lying down. Maintenance was very bad, and the rooms cost far too much for what they offer. You can find the same or better elsewhere without these conditions. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The hotel is right on mall road, so getting around was easy, and the staff helped us figure out places to visit. I stayed here for my anniversary, and they made it a memorable trip. The view from our room was amazing.

We paid seventeen hundred fifty per room and got rooms with a valley view from the windows. The hotel is on Mall road and has its own restaurant serving South Indian and other dishes. The one letdown was that the T.V. wasn’t working in either of our two rooms.

We were there with our kids, family, and parents, and had nobody from the staff to help us. We were first told to park our car somewhere else, then the next day someone demanded money for the parking. The hotel should have covered it, but they wanted us to pay 2000. When we questioned the charge, they threatened that we wouldn’t be allowed to leave. In the end, the hotel said they were saving their money and that this was all a drama.
