I've stayed here twice, and it's a safe, reasonably priced and convenient hotel near the railway station and Prince Chowk. The room is very large and well ventilated, and the AC and geyser both work well. The reception manager is very good. I didn't order any food, and there isn't a kettle in the room. Overall, a good experience.

The room was a letdown: broken chairs, a dirty washroom, and unclean floors. The hotel looked fine from outside, so I understand how the positive online reviews and room photos led me to book it. At checkout, a receptionist asked me to open Google and then began posting reviews from my phone. I stopped them. I wouldn't recommend booking here based only on online ratings and pictures.

Hotel Vishnu Inn is right by the railway station, so it works as a convenient one-night stop. The rooms are usable, but they need a proper clean to get rid of the bad smell, and the paint could use refreshing. Service was disappointing: the manager and other staff seemed uninterested in guests, whether at check-in, checkout, or when asked for something. It didn't feel comfortable or welcoming.

The rooms and toilets were clean, and I found the staff helpful and pleasant to deal with. I was very comfortable here.

The restaurant food was good. I stayed here recently; it's a standard hotel very close to Dehradun railway station.
