At check-in, the staff weren’t coordinated and didn’t even know about our reservation. The rooms were poorly maintained and smelled strongly of damp. The sheets and pillows were stained, but when we asked for clean ones, they refused. The bathroom lock was broken, and the water bottles they gave us didn’t seem sealed.

The location is very good, and the staff behave well. The rooms are clean, and the food is tasty too.

Basic hygiene was poor. There was no television in the room, and they gave us tap water for drinking in a bisleri bottle.

The reception staff made an already bad stay worse. When we raised the service problems, the person at reception was rude and uncooperative. Getting our luggage upstairs was a struggle too: there was no lift, the stairs were broken, and nobody offered to carry our bags until we asked several times. The room was cramped, with fungus on the walls, and the glasses were dirty. The bathroom smelled bad and wasn't clean. The hotel is on a busy street, which made parking and even taking a stroll inconvenient. It’s a basic place, so we weren’t expecting luxury, but we did expect it to be clean. We had a horrible experience.

Being right beside the railway station made this a really convenient choice in Dehradun, and it was good value for the money. Our room was clean and cozy, and the staff were lovely. I absolutely enjoyed my stay and would recommend it.
