The room was behind Hotel Madhuban in the same complex, and our car couldn’t get near its gate. Moving our luggage was a hassle, with no staff offered to help; even at checkout, repeated calls for someone to collect it went unanswered. The washroom and bathroom were very compact. The staff seemed like trainees, and reception often didn’t answer calls. A bedsheet change request took an hour. We booked through Oyo, then had to pay Rs.700 extra at check-in as a balance amount they asked for, which Oyo’s website hadn’t shown. A very bad stay, and not worth even one star.

During the two nights, mobile network reception was very poor. The hotel changed my room from 609 to 604 on the evening of the 29th because there was no wifi range. On the morning of the 30th, I noticed an insect in 604; it was cleaned up after 20 minutes of back-and-forth with reception. Staff kept asking me whenever they saw me when I would check out. At about 10.50pm on the night of the 30th, a hotel server knocked many times to collect the food bill, though he hadn’t asked for payment during the earlier food delivery or plate collection. On the morning of the 31st, the receptionist asked Security to follow me about the food bills from the last two nights. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

Everything else about the hotel was good, but I booked through goibibo with complimentary breakfast for two days and was charged for it instead. That suggests a communication gap between ibibo and the hotel. Also, there was no kettle in the room.

The room was affordable and I had a nice stay, though the service needs improvement and so do the menu prices. Tea costs 100₹ before taxes.
