OYO 19824 Hotel Doon Palace

Today, when I urgently needed to use the washroom, I went to their hotel and the receptionist told me there wasn't a common washroom. I had seen one right beside the reception. As I understand the government rules, hotels, restaurants, and petrol pumps can't refuse someone use of a common washroom or deny water to someone in need.

The staff were polite and helpful, the price was low, and the room was cool. The TV and AC both worked, and the bathroom was clean, which mattered most to me. I'm happy with this hotel.

I wouldn't recommend booking this property. The rooms were filthy and unhygienic, and the bedsheets and blankets were very dirty and hadn't been cleaned. Room service was awful. I checked in at 1pm for two rooms, but they didn't give me the other room until 5pm, and that one was unhygienic too. I ordered tea and asked for less sugar, but what they brought was like sugar water. I don't know how Oyo selects properties without verifying them. I think the five-star ratings are fake and come from people they know.

I gave this five stars earlier by mistake. This wasn't a good stay. The place lacked cleanliness, the spring mattress was uncomfortable, and the bed had old OYO decorations. Tea cost 25 rupees and wasn't even good. WiFi had no internet, even though staff shared the password, and repeated requests to fix it weren't welcomed. Thank you.
