Rio Resort - The Nature Spa Resort

We had our wedding here a couple of months ago, and it was a great experience. The location, rooms, and hospitality were all great. They delivered on what they'd promised and even went above and beyond with the arrangements despite the heavy rain.

We were at Rio Resort, Dehradun for a family wedding. The resort looked nice and the arrangements were decent, but the room had a serious privacy issue: an open space or window under the mirror made everything inside visible from outside. That's especially concerning for girls and families. We were shocked and disappointed, and after repeated complaints and an argument with management, we ended up calling the police. Families should be able to feel safe and respected, but this compromised our privacy and destroyed our trust. I wouldn't recommend the resort. Others should avoid it unless this is permanently fixed.

The service felt slow and sometimes inattentive, so there's room for improvement there. The rooms were comfortable enough, though pretty ordinary. The real draw is the amazing location, beautiful views, and relaxing atmosphere. It's a nice stay if the setting is what you're after.

The food was prepared well. Housekeeping was very poor, though, and no one came to fix the TV or AC when they weren't working properly.
