Super Hotel O Vidhan Sabha Chowk Formerly Sunshine Guest House

The staff were polite, helpful, and cooperative, which was the one good part of our stay. We booked through OYO Rooms, but the place didn't look like the online photos or listing at all. Getting there also means going into Dehradun city. We were shown three rooms, and every one was outdated and poorly maintained, with hygiene problems: bed bugs, dirty toilets, an unpleasant smell, little ventilation or air circulation, and sheets and blankets in poor condition. Cleanliness wasn't even up to a basic standard. There was no control over noisy, unruly guests. People shouted and screamed late into the night, and nobody seemed to monitor or enforce basic noise discipline, so resting was extremely uncomfortable. The property has potential, but it urgently needs better maintenance, hygiene, and room quality. OYO should review the listing and bring it in line with what guests expect from the brand.
