The rooms were filthy and smelled bad, and there was no water. The toilets were so dirty that even potholes seemed cleaner. Staff were rude and had no idea how to treat guests. A miserable stay. If zero stars were possible, I’d give that.

OYO’s couple-entry policy may appeal to young people, but it isn’t the only app offering that. Don’t trust the app blindly. The customer service and hospitality were terrible: they kept saying they were looking into the problem while I was left dealing with the awful facilities myself. The inn sits right by the Mussoorie-Dehradun highway, with Mussoorie 22 km away according to the milestone here. Nearby, Pahalwan Dhaba, also called Pahalwan Paratha, is worth a stop for its tandoor-made aloo parathas. The zoo is close too, and I’ve tagged a photo of the dhaba. Must visit.

The place is in a terrible location, with rubbish scattered around, and it was my worst OYO stay. Our sheets were stained and the rooms untidy; they changed the sheets only after I insisted. Room no.102 had a broken toilet seat. The manager wouldn’t give me a bill because the stay hadn’t been checked in, and OYO support was useless.
