The place feels more like a hostel than a hotel, with no kitchen, breakfast, or proper room service. The lobby also smelled of bidi the whole time, apparently because the caretaker smokes there. They’ve replaced the smart card door access with ordinary keys, which was a hassle. At check-in I waited 40 minutes at a small computer table with mosquitoes nearby. Ganesh eventually helped me get a room, which I appreciated. The room was average: the Kent RO water purifier was handy and the bed was decent, but there was no shower gel and the towels didn’t feel fresh. I stayed a second day because I know most other hotels nearby are worse, but they moved me to a worse room without telling me. The stay was tolerable, though management of the basics, maintenance, hygiene, and communication all need work.

I just wanted to get into my room and rest, and that’s what happened. Check-in and check-out were easy, and the staff kept to themselves without being nosy.

The setup is a good idea, with a little kitchenette, induction cooktop, microwave, RO, washing machine, and some basic utensils. I only stayed one night, so I didn’t use any of it. There isn’t much staff to help, and the reception doesn’t feel properly staffed. Because of the location and that lack of reception support, I didn’t feel safe staying alone.
