Best Western Maharani Bagh

We’re here as part of a wedding group and have been enjoying our stay. The buffet breakfast has an elaborate selection, and the food is very tasty. The restaurant service is excellent, with efficient and attentive staff. Vishal Saini was especially professional, and the front desk team are kind and helpful. Our rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. They maintain their international standards, and I’d highly recommend the hotel.

The buffet breakfast was a bright spot, with Western and Indian options and hot parathas. The North Indian dishes were the best, while the South Indian selection was poorly made. The hotel is centrally located, making it convenient to reach many of the main tourist destinations. The room itself was small and had a sewage smell that wouldn’t go away. There was a stain on the toilet that housekeeping only removed after we called and specifically requested it. One evening we returned to find the room hadn’t been cleaned, so we had to call for a cleaning crew. They also didn’t leave enough towels for everyone, and we had to request more. Most concerning, the safe malfunctioned and locked our passports and wallet inside. It took nearly 20 minutes and multiple calls to get someone from the front desk to help unlock it, but thankfully we got everything back.

I stayed in three different rooms over a few nights in November while travelling around the state. They were all very clean, and the facilities were great. The staff were lovely and attentive, and the front security team were always welcoming. The dinner menu was excellent, and I enjoyed the evening buffet too. Breakfast was a bit limited, though it was nice to be able to order dosa and omelettes. The coffee machine was often out of order, and an alternative like instant coffee would have helped. I appreciated having an air purifier in my room on the 4th floor, since pollution from the nearby roads was noticeable. I was told only 4th floor rooms have purifiers, and my room on the 3rd floor didn’t have one. Still, I was pleasantly surprised that the rooms themselves didn’t smell of pollution, though it sometimes did in the hallways. The location isn’t great for public transit or walking, but I mostly used ubers or private guides, so it wasn’t a problem for me. I’d definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the Best Western Maharani Bagh for a couple of days in October, mainly because we had appointments at Apollo Hospital and the commute was very convenient. The staff were consistently attentive and helpful, and we enjoyed every meal. The dining team looked after us promptly and professionally. Laxmi and Tanu in the dining hall gave our 4-year-old daughter extra attention. She loved them, and they played with her and kept her entertained. Chandra Prakash from housekeeping responded quickly whenever we needed help. Each day, Praveen and Chandra Prakash made a new towel animal for her, which was such a lovely surprise. It was a very pleasant stay, especially for families.
