Capital O 11689 Hotel Happy Stay

The online photos made the place look clean and comfortable, but what I found was the opposite. I booked Hotel Happy Stay near Delhi Airport through Expedia, and it was a nightmare. I arrived at 2 AM after a long flight, hoping to rest for a few hours before my next connection. Instead, there were cockroaches on the furniture and walls, a strong foul smell in the room and hallway, and mold and grime all over the bathroom. The listed location didn’t seem accurate either, and the area felt isolated and unsafe. I left within five minutes of checking in. The staff just said “OK,” with no apology, alternative room, help, or refund. I rushed back to the airport and slept on a chair because staying there felt impossible. I consider this listing misleading and a health and safety hazard, and Expedia should urgently review it for false advertising and safety violations. This isn’t a place for travelers. Don’t book if you care about your health, hygiene, and safety. I wish I’d read reviews like this before wasting my time and money.

I booked an hour ago and asked to cancel because I’m traveling with children, but they refused and hung up on me. Reception was unhelpful and wouldn’t answer my calls or assist with the cancellation. I’d be especially cautious about staying here with kids, and I don’t consider the hotel safe. The employees seem to be writing the five-star reviews themselves, which makes me question whether the feedback is genuine. Please read reviews carefully before booking.

The bathroom had mold, and the street was noisy. It was relatively inexpensive, though, and they kept our bags for a while while we went to do other things. Hotel Happy Stay is in Mahipalpur, outside the airport area. Our driver warned us the area was unsafe and that we shouldn’t walk around at night. The place is actually Kelvish Hotel, which has the correct location on Maps, but it seems to operate under multiple names.

We walked from the Aerocity metro station, which is close by. The hotel looked new and clean, and the staff were always ready to help. We stayed three days, and housekeeping changed our bed linen every day. It’s also near the airport.
