For 3k, the service was grossly inefficient. I ordered breakfast, but staff forgot to tell the kitchen. When I called after 20 minutes, they said it would take another 30, and later admitted they'd forgotten. Food is hugely expensive, and the complimentary breakfast isn't enough. For the American breakfast, you're made to pick either cornflakes or sandwiches. I've never encountered that before. I wouldn't mind those services at a lower price, but not for this. The rooms are poorly maintained and the staff seem incompetent. A very poor experience.

I gave one star because of the problems with the property, not the people working there. After I'd paid the full amount in advance, they demanded more and said they wouldn't honor that price. I ended up paying double the booking amount. If the property won't accept the price, OYO shouldn't offer discounts or coupons for it. The room was a mess and unhygienic, with an unwashed blanket. The AC didn't work, and they wouldn't move me after I complained. There was a TV but no setup box. OYO should have told me if I was expected to bring a pendrive, though that wouldn't be acceptable at this price anyway. There wasn't a single towel in the bathroom. This is listed as a couple-friendly OYO, but the price doesn't make these conditions acceptable. You could look at other hotels on platforms like treebo or fab hotels, or find another OYO property. The only decent thing was the breakfast. We called half an hour before arrival and asked them to get a room ready. They assigned us 204, then after check-in said it had been assigned by mistake and moved us to 202. When we reported there was no hot water, they asked us to wait 15 minutes. Then a technician or electrician came and said the geyser in 203 had a problem, so they shifted us to 104. That room had hot water, but only for about 10 minutes after switching it on. The woman at the counter seemed uninterested in fixing anything, though some other staff tried their best. We lost more than an hour during a business trip.

I keep staying at this hotel because of the hospitality and the way Aapar and the staff treat guests. Aapar, the owner, is down to earth and cooperative, and the staff are professional. It was an excellent experience and worth it 🌸🌸
