The toilet was a wee bit small, and I would have liked brighter bedroom lighting. Still, this is a classy, nicely upgraded homestay, and I’m inclined to support the owner’s invitation to stay here. The owner lives next door and makes a point of connecting with guests at least once around breakfast, which I admired. There’s a computer available, and I used it to print our boarding passes. Thapa, the helpful hand, can be reached by phone when needed. Shopping is within a kilometer.

The house is beautifully styled, cosy, and very clean, with good beds and bathrooms. We spent the last two days of our India trip in Delhi after two weeks in Assam and Meghalaya, and felt completely at home at Mrs Surinder Maini's peaceful guesthouse. Breakfast was full, with tea and coffee, all prepared with care and attention. Day trips were arranged each day if you wanted, and we got good advice for dinner and events. The door was always open, with the kindest housekeeper. A perfect choice for visiting Delhi and its surroundings.

The rooms are clean, and the bedsheets are neat. The owner lives next door, interacts with guests at least once a day, and provides the necessary services and amenities. They’re caring and helpful, which makes this homestay better than other average lodges and hotels. It’s a very nice place to stay in South Delhi, near Fortis hospital Vasant Kunj.

The decor was lovely, and the place was quiet. My flight got in late, so I arrived late too, but the hosts were friendly and very nice. I felt safe and slept well. A good place to stay in New Delhi.
