FabHotel Alpine Tree

The staff at this hotel were awful and had no sense of how to speak to people. They show available bookings, then ask for extra money and behave rudely. Worst hotel ever.

Really liked the room service, and the food service was very nice. The whole experience was very good!

I stayed at Opo Alpino for six days with two rooms, and the experience was awful. There were no towels or dustbins, and room cleaning wasn't available after 2 p.m. The reception manager was rude and asked me for extra personal money. When I refused, he told me to check out right away. He also accused me of being drunk and said drinking and coming to the hotel wasn't allowed, then threatened to call the police. The management was completely unprofessional, with no service and terrible behavior. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

My room smelled overpoweringly bad, and the toilets were dirty and foul-smelling too. The food seemed stale, and there were cockroaches in it. In 45°C heat, the AC in my room didn't work. When I asked to move, I was told none of the hotel's ACs worked. The carpets were stained, the furniture old and broken, and the hallways dark and dingy. Noise from shouting and slamming doors went on at all hours, and the area felt unsafe at night with little security around. The staff were rude and unhelpful from check-in, and management showed no interest when I raised these problems. I was also charged extra on arrival for something that hadn't been mentioned when I booked. It felt like a bait-and-switch. Don't be taken in by the website or booking-site photos. Hotel Alpine Tree was a disaster, and I strongly advise against staying there. There are better, safer options nearby.
