The area has an old-school Delhi feel, with narrow roads in a backward locality. The hotel itself had a fair ambience, and the room was decent for the price, with amenities that made sense for a one-night stay. The bathroom was acceptable, not bad. Breakfast wasn't very good. It could have looked and tasted better. There was no power backup or vehicle parking.

They charged me 600/- per person for early check-in, even after I explained I was only there during the day. The sheet was dirty, with curry spilled on it, and had to be replaced. There was also a dog roaming freely around the hotel. It's too far inside the area. I've seen better hotels with better prices, locations, and customer service. This felt like money making.

The location is convenient for the market, and Ramakrishna ashram metro station is an easy walk away. The hotel area itself isn't nice, with gullies and local people making a lot of noise down the road. Some stare as you walk past, which seems common in delhi. The rooms are nice and well maintained, and I liked how the bed was arranged. They call themselves a backpackers heaven. Food is average. Buffet breakfast is free, but lunch and dinner cost extra and are delivered to the room. Every order also has a 10% service charge. They turn off the AC frequently, so feel free to call reception to have it switched on again.

After a bad experience with the fake pictures at hindustan international of fab hotel, we booked this place overnight hoping for better. The staff were rude, and the toilets were unhygienic. The flush didn't work and the sink was blocked. The in-room dining menu listed options that mostly weren't available. There was stool in the washroom when we checked into one room, so we had to change rooms. The rooms were very unhygienic. After turndown, we kept finding hair on the bed. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. It doesn't deserve even one star.
