Fabhotel The Crystal Palace

I've often stayed at hotels in the fabhotels india franchise, but my stay under this Booking ID was the worst hotel booking experience I've had in India. I had no realistic way to switch because the company said there was no refund policy. Hotels are supposed to offer comfort and ease, but this was a terrible condition to be in. At least complaints like this should be heard. How does FABHOTEL choose a place like this for its franchise? The location didn't match what was advertised. Room 314, the first one I was given, was cramped and had a lot of damp on the walls. I looked at 8-9 replacement rooms, and every one was in poor shape, with moisture and smells, and paint peeling off almost everywhere. I finally chose room 312 because I'd prepaid. I'm attaching photos of it. The pictures in the fabhotel app and on other booking platforms like agoda were falsified, and someone should lodge a complaint. When I showed the pictures to a worker, they said they didn't find rooms at the hotel as neat and clean as the photos showed. The mattress was partly damaged, the mattress and pillows were dirty, and the walls were dirty. When I raised the issues, a worker said they'd already told the manager, but no one listened. There were lots of mosquitoes all night, with no mosquito repellent service. I had to ask three or four times for towels and soap, which weren't provided in advance. Water bottles were listed as an amenity, but I also had to request those several times. The TV was a dummy, with no channels. I was told it ran on WiFi and only YouTube worked, but when I asked them to start it, they couldn't. I don't think it will be replaced. The food was poor for the quoted price. Three or four ceiling lights didn't work properly, and another kept blinking. The bathroom was tiny, the shower leaked, and the water didn't drain smoothly. The app photos also misrepresented the bathroom. There was a separate problem with breakfast. At 7:30 in the morning, I spoke with the receptionist and was told it started between 9:30 and 10. Since I had to go out, I asked to have breakfast at 11:30, and the receptionist and I agreed. But when I came back, another receptionist argued that I had to pay for one more day, then first said there was no breakfast available after that. It was absurd, with professionalism at rock bottom.
