Fabhotel The Glory I

The price differed from what I saw on Booking.com, the reception wasn't very welcoming, and the place wasn't that clean. I also found a fake review on Booking.com written under my name, which isn't right. For ethical reasons, I wouldn't recommend it.

The booking through Goibibo for 3rd to 4th April clearly listed breakfast and dinner as included, but staff at Hotel Glory seemed surprised and unaware when I checked in. One staff member repeatedly and rudely asked how that could be and how their staff had confirmed it, as though I were at fault. I showed the booking proof, but still felt uncomfortable and unwelcome. After a heated discussion, they reluctantly provided both meals. It was embarrassing and stressful, and the service felt unprofessional. If the hotel can't honor what's listed on booking platforms, it shouldn't advertise it. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone expecting transparent service and respectful treatment.

The place was really dirty. The shower was filthy, the blankets were torn and dirty, and we could hear staff shouting late at night from our room. Staff were cheeky and seemed to be trying to scam us over the taxi in the booking. I booked after seeing good reviews, but the place was very different from what I expected. When I went to Booking.com to leave a review, I saw someone had already posted a very positive one from my profile. They collect a lot of information at check-in and make you write it down. I guess they use it to exploit a gap on Booking.com, though I still don't know how they did it. Booking.com never replied to my complaints, perhaps because they're used to this with places in India. I finally managed to delete the comment. Worst experience ever.

We had three rooms for business, and they were clean and spacious. The location was wonderful and all the staff were courteous. Priyanshi at reception was especially good at following up and making sure we were comfortable. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
