I booked this for an official trip, but the rooms, though spacious, weren’t clean. There was humidity, a bad smell, and unhygienic toilets. They don’t have their own kitchen, so food comes from outside and is served cold. The complimentary breakfast was misleading too: just one item with tea or coffee. You had to ask for a towel, water glass, or AC to be switched on. A bad experience.

Room service needs work. A TV set-top box was promised for one of the rooms, but it wasn’t there and never arrived later.

The room itself was good, but the early check-in left me disappointed. My online booking said I could check in up to two hours early at no charge, subject to availability. I arrived two hours before the usual time and was told there was no room. As soon as I asked whether I could pay extra, one was suddenly offered. It gave me the impression that early check-in depended on paying, whatever the availability. If so, advertising complimentary early check-in is misleading and makes booking ahead online pointless.

A hotel around the corner turned us away, and this place took us in.
