The daily chats with the vegetable delivery truck are a lovely memory, and peaches and litchis always seemed within reach. My 17 days here will stay with me for the rest of my life. Thanks, Joe. The house sits in a spacious orchard, with room to cook and complete privacy, plus a little fountain Joe made himself. I borrowed a scooter for five dollars a day and explored the Himalayas and the surrounding area. I even began to understand why Hanuman is shown holding a mountain. After hearing about a nearby hot spring, I hurried along unpaved roads to find it. That Hindu hot spring gave me one of my best moments in India. The place is tranquil and pristine, with an unobstructed view of the Himalayas. I could only stay 17 days, so I left my belongings with Joe, the owner, before leaving. I plan to return for a longer stay in winter. It's best to keep a respectful distance and appreciate His Holiness Dalai Lama, Hanuman, and the Himalayas at their proper scale.

The staff were always ready to help, and we had the best experience. We stayed for 10 days in eight bedrooms across two floors. The rooms were spacious and had attached bathrooms. We came from Newzealand. Thank you to the Grand Sunset owners and staff. We'll book with you again.

The owner is friendly, the place is lovely, the price is good, and it all comes together in one package. This was my second stay, and I'd happily return. I felt safe and comfortable for almost 11 days during Delhi's winter, with a heater in the warm room and hot water always ready. Mr Khurana's place is always neat and clean. Someone came to my door every two days to clean the room. The kitchen was very well supplied too, with utensils, a stove, a microwave, drinking water, and a refrigerator. The room was clean and spacious, and the shared area had what we needed, including drinking water, a kitchen, and a TV. The redline metro isn't far once you get used to the streets. Staying with Dr. Khurana and his family was pleasant. They were there whenever we needed something and made sure we were comfortable. The detailed guidelines they left in the room show how considerate they are. We appreciate everything they did for us.
