Hotel Air Lift

The room service staff would knock and then try to open the door from outside, which raised serious safety concerns. Towels and bedsheets were in very bad condition, too. This was honestly the worst hotel I’ve stayed in, and there are better options in Mahipalpur for less. Housekeeping and room service were extremely rude, especially the cleaning staff. They entered without being called to clean and did a very poor job. One cleaning lady asked to wash her mop in my bathing bucket. When I refused, she shouted at me. I asked her to lower her voice, and she arrogantly said, “Go and complain at reception.” I did complain, but their behavior didn’t improve at all. It felt like they were the bosses there. I stayed for six days and had clearly said I might extend. No one checked with me or told me checkout was approaching. Instead, the receptionist blocked the rooms, then called on the morning of checkout to ask about my stay and told me to book online, even though they knew no rooms were available. It seemed clearly intended to create trouble for guests. I strongly advise people to think twice before booking. The staff were rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful.

The photos on Google Maps, Booking, and elsewhere make this place look better than it is. Still, it’s clean, the staff are nice, and it delivers what it promises, even if it’s super basic. The in-room breakfast was decent, too. I stayed overnight during a layover and it did the job, but don’t expect much. Maybe fine for men or couples, but surely not for solo women travellers. It feels like the management was dealt really bad cards and is trying to play its best hand.

There was noise and commotion all night, and the sheets were dirty with bloodstains. The room I was moved to had no air conditioning or hot water. I’d reported insects in the first room, after being told the hotel I booked was full and transferred to a sister hotel. They also pressured me to leave a Google review, which is a serious violation of terms and conditions. This was a terrible hotel. I wish they’d do business more honestly.

Very poor service. I stayed for two days and was short of cash, but they couldn’t ask for or bring Rs 10 toothpaste. I even said I’d tell the owner, but they didn’t care. It was 12 in the morning. I’ll never come back, and I’ll tell others not to either. I’ll give the owner feedback to change the front End staff.
