Hotel Bella Vista

I’ve been coming to Delhi for business since 2018 and used to stay here. This is the second time I’ve had this happen. In 2022, the same staff member did something similar, though I didn’t realize what was going on then. Today, when they had no room available within my choice and budget, a staff member insisted on accompanying me to nearby hotels, presenting it as help finding a room. After nearly an hour of searching with him there, I finally found one. Once he left, I got a better offer from better hotels. I then learned that someone who brings a guest to another hotel is entitled to a commission, so those places overcharge to cover it. It feels like that’s the business model there.

The management was awful and spoke very rudely to guests. I won’t visit again. They lied to us, so ask for a receipt and have them write the timings and fare on it.

The rooms were old, noisy, and poorly maintained, nothing like the website or photos suggested. Cleanliness was terrible: the rooms were dirty, the toilets unhygienic, and the towels looked used by previous guests, even though staff falsely said they were new. The place was a disaster. Staff kept calling the room unnecessarily during my stay, supposedly about breakfast or lunch. It felt intrusive and unprofessional. Given the actual condition, I find it hard to believe the many positive online reviews, which seem fake or paid. It isn’t worth the price or even one star. I strongly advise staying away and finding a better, genuine option nearby.

No room service, no cleanliness, and a bad smell in both the room and washroom. There wasn’t any tissue paper, soap, or anything. The worst part was having no hot water in winter. We had to ask, and they still wouldn’t turn it on. There was no gizer in the washroom; they just pretended they had turned the water on. Such a bad experience. They also bluffed about the cost. I don’t recommend going there.
