We spent five days here and had to keep arguing just to get basic things. The hotel charged twice the menu price for everything we ordered, even tea, blaming a cylinder shortage. Yet there were several restaurants and chai shops right outside and on the parallel road selling tea at normal prices. They also switched off the AC in the middle of the night and said there was no AC after 7 in the morning. Whenever it stopped overnight, we had to call and fight to get it turned back on. No remote was provided at first, and the default 24-degree setting wasn't enough, though they finally gave us one after we complained. At check-in, they said hot water would be available from the next morning, but later we found there was no hot water facility. After we insisted, they gave us an immersion rod that took over an hour to heat one bucket. The service was very poor and the staff rude. I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel. There are several other places nearby, including much cheaper options.

We were really glad we chose a sharing room. It was a lovely experience, and the staff were wonderful. Thanks to the Delhi Empire team, especially manager Raza Khan ji, who was very helpful and supportive.

A word of advice: don't book this hotel based on the online reviews. The sheets and pillows weren't clean, and the water heater didn't work, so they gave us a water heating rod instead. Staff were polite only until we had checked in. When I asked for a bill, they wanted another ₹225 as a service charge and refused to include it in the GST invoice.

It was pouring, but the concierge wouldn't let us wait inside the reception, even briefly. He said it was against the rules and then started arguing. Very rude behavior.

The bathroom was exceptionally clean, and the rooms were spotless and well looked after. The staff were always willing to help and did it with a smile. I felt the place really cared about cleanliness and guest comfort, and the hospitality throughout was warm. I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it.
