Hotel Clark Heights

Ashok, the Front Office Manager, wouldn’t allow a simple date change even though I told the hotel about my mistaken booking within 10 minutes. Agoda customer care called too, but he still refused and was rude and unprofessional on the phone. I lost the full charge for a night I never stayed. Really disappointing. It felt like the money mattered more than helping a customer. ❌

The washrooms were in very bad shape, and the place was expensive. They charged 40 rupees for a Bisleri bottle that costs 20. There’s no parking, the location isn’t good, and room service and staff behaviour were both awful. After 9 pm, the staff were drunk, and the owner was too. I didn’t feel it was safe for women. I’d give this half a star at most, and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

We made a booking for the wrong date and asked to cancel or move it, but Ashok refused. Agoda staff also asked him to accept the change and book another date, and he still said no. We’d booked despite the bad reviews, and now I’d tell others to avoid this hotel if they don’t want to feel cheated. On the call, he was rude and had no manners. When I asked his name, he lied and said he was from agoda. I have the call recordings. If that’s how he speaks on the phone, I can only imagine how he treats people there. Worst experience.

My guests stayed for two nights recently and had a horrible time. The bathroom wasn’t properly cleaned and some of the tiles were broken. At night, drunk boys in the next room kept knocking on their door. My guests told the staff, who were drunk too, but nobody did anything. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.
