OYO 5401 Hotel Mid Town

The staff were ready to help, and the front office service was really good. The food tasted good too, though it was very expensive and didn’t feel worth the price. The hotel is right behind Karolbagh metro station, in the middle of the market, so there’s a lot of unnecessary crowding. Uber avoids coming right up to the front. Rooms are very spacious and have all the amenities, but they aren’t maintained properly. The smart TV takes some searching to find the power switch, and the AC works fine but has no remote or temperature display. I liked the hotel and would stay again.

The breakfast buffet in the morning was excellent. I stayed one night with my son and his family. We got there before check-in, but could leave our luggage. The rooms were nice and the bed was very comfortable. After a day of shopping, we had ice cream at the hotel’s ice cream parlor before turning in. I’d definitely come back.

They surprised us with champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries after we mentioned at check-in that we were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary. A lovely gesture, and we really enjoyed the stay at this nice property with its great town view. The lounge food could be better. It was okay, but didn’t impress me. Breakfast was about the same as, or a bit worse than, the free hot breakfast at a mid-range hotel. I’ve stayed at other Mid Towns that were much better.

The hotel is classy, the rooms are top notch, and our city view was breathtaking. For the past 3 years, my wife and I have made it our usual place to stay when I come for business, including this convention. In our view, the service and staff are worth the price. They’re pleasant, courteous, and helpful with whatever we need. Since it’s close to everything downtown, my wife has plenty to do while I’m at the conference.
